We interviewed Alexander Newley (http://alexandernewley.com/) as a way of exploring and establishing some of the themes at the heart of the Shakespeare Academy. His penetrating insights into the role of art and story in our lives, into nature and technology, and of course Shakespeare, give a powerful picture of the world as seen through the eyes of a true artist.
Alexander will be showing some of his work at ‘A Celebration of the Forest’, the first Shakespeare Academy exhibition to be launched at Bestwood Lodge in November this year.
Over the coming weeks we will be inviting artists to submit works in harmony with the given title…
